Earthquake and Tsunami in Chile

Having lived in California for most of my life, I've experienced my share of earthquakes. But nothing I've experienced even remotely compares to the havoc wrought by the one in Haiti and now this one in Chile which has the potential to be much worse according to the New York Times. Since tsunami warnings and advisories are in effect for some parts of the U.S. along with many other countries around the Pacific, you may want to check for advice on how to prepare for a tsunami from Matt Rosenberg, the Geography Guide for About.com. If you want to help those affected by this earthquake, here are some resources at Huffington Post. If you need information about somebody's whereabouts in Chile, Google has this resource.
